Another successful training/gymkhana morning at Alconbury.
Seven riders took up the offer of the free training on a chilly but bright morning, the Members spread out over the two exercises on offer to start, with some changing from slow speed to gymkhana during the session.

This is an ideal opportunity for PECAM Members and Associates to improve your basic slow speed skills and if you wish to, move onto something a little more adventurous, with the Gymkhana.
The most basic exercise was riding your bike in a straight line at a slow walking pace, through to U-turns and basic figure of 8s to a slow speed slalom, on a layout that goes from relaxed too difficult.
All these exercises will improve your bike handling skills and show you what your bike (and you) are capable of.
From the most basic skills you can then choose to move on to the move advanced riding skills used in the gymkhana style configurations.

Although gymkhana can look quite daunting, the methodology, that we use for all our training takes the skills development in small steps.
Why not take advantage of this free training and come along next month, keep an eye out on Slack Training Channel for full details.
You can always take advantage and use the PECAM bike if your worried about dropping your own bike!
Excellent morning, was had by all, refreshments and chocolate biscuits enjoyed by all, thanks to Bob S.
Thanks again to Mark, Bob S and Kevin for all their expertise and patience.
