27th July, was the turn of Kevin Hudson to lead the PECAM Sunday Social Ride Out and boy, what a ride out it turned out to be!
Seven PECAM Members, joined Kevin at Haddon Services for the all important pre-ride briefing, with eight bikes, it was decided to use the second man drop-off system, with myself volunteering for pink vest (TEC) duties.

Heading South on the A1(M) and starting the fabulous twisty roads from Folksworth Village and heading on through some of the best kept secret roads, the pot-hole fairies must have been working overnight, as the roads were a delight to ride!
Arriving at Shuttleworth, the cafe was busy, but we were all served very quickly, enjoying our feast outside in the sunshine, watching the muscle cars and high end cars parading past us, on their way out of the grounds.

On leaving Old Warden, Kevin lead us on another magical mystery tour.
As for the exact route……well, like I say, the roads were the best kept secret, not sure where Kevin found them, but you had to be on the rideout to find them!
The end destination was to be The Talbot Inn, Stilton, where the remainder of the group, stopped off for a refreshing cold drink, before all making our own way home.
We had the privilege to ride some fantastic roads today, for me there where many new ones, well worth the wait!
A big thank you to Kevin Hudson for taking us on our magical mystery tour and as always to everyone for their company.
