With it being a special ride out, the plan was slightly different in that we aimed to leave Haddon Services at 10.30am, which meant that we were able to have a bit of a lay in, which was very welcome!
Seven PECAM Members, along with a Pillion, joined Bob A for a briefing, with eight bikes, it was decided to use the intelligent buddy system for the morning.
Bob A had planned a route around many of our local roads and slightly further afield to some new villages, for a couple of hours with an end destination of The Cuckoo at Alwalton.
Whilst the roads were quiet, they were very muddy, a great pace for the conditions and a most enjoyable ride was had by all.
Following our stop off, we all headed home so we could all get our bikes washed and then join our Families for the Christmas festivities.
A fabulous way to start the Christmas holiday, a big thank you to Bob A for organising, leading the ride and the coffees at The Cuckoo, also to Santa (aka Bob S) for TEC duties.
