Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Advanced Motorcyclist (PECAM) are a local motorcycle group affiliated with the IAM RoadSmart Charity for the purpose of coaching the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider Course.
PECAM also combine this activity with a wide range of additional skills and motorcycle training for members throughout the year.
The benefits of the Advanced Rider Course include:
- Improved confidence and a more comprehensive awareness of the riding environment and other road users.
- Increased anticipation of hazards or potential hazards, and pre-planning the avoidance of them.
- A fuller enjoyment of motorcycling, and of participation in riding events with other advanced riders.
