Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Advanced Motorcyclists (PECAM) today launched its amazing 50% off the IAM Roadsmart Advanced Training offer. The offer covers the standard Advanced Rider and Fellowship programmes.

The BMW M1000RR at Sycamore Motorrad 
The launch was at the Sycamore Motorrad Peterborough dealership in conjunction with their launch of the amazing new BMW M1000RR, the first ‘M’ bike ever, and the 2021 S1000R. As usual Sycamore Motorrad laid on a fantastic day with hot food, free drinks and expert help on all of their extensive BMW and Enfield ranges of bikes and extensive accessory and parts ranges as well.
The PECAM volunteers were on hand to introduce people to Advanced riding, and normally would have offered free assessment and introductory rides, but the weather was so poor that the free ride assessments had to be postponed.
The Offer
The 50% off offer on training is in partnership with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, and their Visionzero road safety partnership. When someone new joins IAM Roadsmart in the PECAM area and they pay the full £149, they will get all of the benefits of the normal membership. These include; the full first year membership of the IAM, full first year membership of PECAM, all of the one-to-one training required to get to test standard, and the test itself. Also included is full access to the other training PECAM offers and our full social programme throughout the year, Then on passing their test the new member will get 50% of the fee they paid returned to them directly onto their bank account.
