Saturday 19th August, was the date for the rescheduled slow speed and gymkhana session at our new venue West Point carpark by the Bauer Media Building in Peterborough.

The session was well attended, with eleven members taking advantage of the opportunity to practice their skills in a safe environment with all the expertise on hand from the PECAM Training Team.

The PECAM bike was also available for anyone who wished to use it for the slow speed skills as well as the gymkhana.

Whilst this is a new venue for PECAM, its proving to be super location for the training, with an excellent surface, as you can see from the photos and enough space to allow us to keep the different disciplines safely separated.

The session saw the riders progress throughout the five basic exercises, developing over time with the rider extending their ability beyond what they thought was possible.

Whilst the training is offered to all PECAM Members including Associates on the first Saturday of each month and all are encouraged to take advantage of the free training (where else can you get training and guidance for free?) the site is also available to any Observer with an Associate, on any other Saturday, between 10am and 2.00pm.

If any Observer is interested in taking advantage of training area, please drop Bob Stewart a message via Slack with the names and registration numbers, so that Bob can inform West Point of attendance.

Look out for details for the next slow speed training, we encourage all PECAM Members to take advantage of the training, it is another part of what is on offer to all the Group, if there is one thing that you are struggling with the Training Team will be more than happy to give you advice to help you.
