December Social Evening – Barry Wroe’s Famous Christmas Quiz
This month’s Social, was the PECAM Annual Christmas Quiz, devised and hosted by Barry Wroe.
It was held at The Sibson Inn, our go too Winter Social venue, Philip Wadlow had organised a private room, where he set up festive lights and music to set the mood and had organised a buffet which was funded by PECAM Club Funds.
With pen and paper in hand, following a few drinks, we settled down for Barry’s quiz, aided by Kev W on IT.
There was a mixture of questions some on road safety, which tested our knowledge of the Highway Code and Roadcraft, as well as some festive conundrums and general knowledge, all of which provoked a mix of banter and jovial barracking.
During the break, a delicious buffet was served, which was enjoyed by all, suitably fed and watered, we carried on with the final rounds of the quiz.
As traditionally expected, Kevin Hudson, took the winners podium for the quiz, getting an excellent score and Barry presented Kev with the winning box of chocolates.
A very enjoyable evening to kick start the run up to Christmas.
