Seven Go Riding

Today’s rideout successfully completed! On this ride I was joined by six other PECAM members and after a turbulent start we got underway from Eye Services and headed towards Thorney. We Explored some excellent Fen roads and passed through numerous Fenland villages up to Holbeach St Matthews and then back towards Fenland airfield for the breakfast stop.

Excellent Food Excellent Service

I have to say the service was excellent at the airfield with a good selection of food on offer. KH left us after breakfast and the rest of us made our way over to Spalding and onto Market Deeping, where BW left us. From Deeping we headed back to Eye to finish the ride by 12.30.

The Twice Monthly PECAM Social Rides

The social rides are one of the key elements of the PECAM social activity and offer motorcycle enthusiasts the chance to ride with a group of advanced riders at a brisk, legal, pace. We often offer alternative rides of varying duration on the second and fourth Sunday of every month throughout the year. We always meet at Haddon Services (A1/A605) Peterborough*. Details of the rides on offer are published on the internal Slack messaging system i the days and weeks leading up to the ride.

These rides are open to all Advanced qualified members of the PECAM group, or by prior arrangement with the group, by qualified advanced riders from other groups. Associates (those in training for their Advanced Test) can join the rides with their Observers approval. Pillions are most welcome!

By special arrangement a ride may start from a different location, this being the case we will either start the alternative ride (if there has been one organised) from Haddon services, or offer a ride from Haddon to the starting point of the ride for the pre-ride briefing. This will always leave Haddon, as per the normal ride outs at 9:30am.
