PECAM was very lucky to have two festive rideouts on offer during the Christmas period.
Craig McLean offered a rideout on Christmas Eve for those who wanted to get out of Christmas chores and another one on Boxing Day, for those desperate to get out of the house!
The Christmas Eve rideout, started at the usual time and place with a destination stop of The Granary, at Willowbrook Farm.
Craig had planned a fabulous route to our destination, the roads were surprisingly quiet and the ride was very enjoyable.
There was a great turn out, thirteen bikes in total, with two Guest Biker Ladies (Dee and Jane) with a Very Special Guest….. Santa!!
The Boxing Day Ride out was very well supported, it was a welcome change for most, great to get out in the fresh air and away from the Turkey left overs!
Once again Craig had planned a great route in the sunshine to Cafe Ventoux. A most enjoyable morning, with the ride out ending at Glinton Services, unfortunatley, Bill and I had to leave before we reached the destination stop, due to a Family commitment.
A big thank you to Craig for taking time out of his Festive Family commitments for planning and leading the two rides.
