Tuesday 20th was June’s PECAM Monthly Evening Social and in line with our Summer Calendar, it was an Evening ride out.

This month Mark Bearman had arranged a ride from Haddon Services to The Waggon and Horses, Langtoft. Mark had planned a 60-mile route around some familiar and some not so familiar roads, which on such a lovely evening would set us up for the food at the destination.

A total of six bikes attended the ride, with Mark leading and Bob A on TEC duties, it was decided that the Intelligent Buddy System would work best.

We set off at 6.30pm with the aim to be at The Waggon and Horses for 8pm.

The route took us out on some of the best Rutland and Leicestershire roads, before heading back to near Bourne and then onto The Waggon and Horses at Langtoft, where several other PECAM Members had arrived, via car, to join us for food and drinks.

The Pizza’s were very popular with the group, with the service at the pub being excellent.

A very enjoyable evening was had by everyone.

Thanks to Mark for his planning and leading, Bob A for his TEC duties and to everyone who turned out on such a lovely evening.
