The first session at our new location was very well supported today.

It was overcast at the start but the skies brightened as the day went on.

4 Trainers, me, Craig, Bob2 and Mark.

Tim was out with his Associate Emma, and led a group of 12 members from Haddon Services up to Deenethorpe, after dropping the members attending the training session, Tim and Emma, then carried on with their observed ride.

The group split into half(ish), 5 doing Advanced Wobbling with Mark & Bob2, and the remaining 7 came for Basic Wobbling with Craig and me.

Everyone was very keen and applied themselves.

It was gratifying for Craig and I to see that towards the end of the session they had all improved from where they started.

Although the surface at Deenethorpe is not as smooth as that at Alconbury, there is a very welcoming, if not small cafe and easily accessible loo’s in the control tower.

We were very well received there.

Fortunately, no aircraft landed whilst we were there!

Worth mentioning for the membership that, although untested today, it is possible to get a cooked breakfast on site for about £6.
