On Saturday 6th August Bob and Myself welcomed Neil, Mark and Andy to Alconbury Airfield for some slow speed practice.

We can cater for all skills and abilities, starting from riding in a straight line at walking pace to Moto Gymkhana, the airfield is a vast piece of level tarmac without traffic or kerbs to worry about so you can just concentrate on moving your bike around.

I collected the guys from the Alconbury entrance and Bob had gone on ahead to set up some exercises such as a U turn, a slalom, and a figure of ‘8’.

After a quick tea/coffee (Kindly provided by Bob) we were good to go.

We did an hour or so of exercises with breaks as required (its surprisingly tiring riding around in circles!) and finished off with a slow speed race, which is over 50m and the last person to cross the finish line wins.

We run the sessions on the first Saturday of the Month, see the Slack training channel for further details.
