With the sun shining and the promise of a fantastic ride out to The Boat Inn, Stoke Bruerne, Northamptonshire, 20 Members (Including a Guest from IAM Milton Keynes) along with two pillions, met at our usual meeting point of Extra Services, Haddon for the pre-ride briefing at 9.15am, from ride leader Philip Wadlow.

With a large number of bikes on the ride, the second man drop off system was put into place and with everyone familiar with how that worked and Garry Aldridge volunteering to be TEC we set off from Haddon in the direction of Oundle for the days adventure.

From Oundle we headed out to the stunning Northamptonshire Countryside, passing through Salcey Forest before finding our first destination of the day at Stoke Bruerne.

The Boat Inn was a very welcome site, with many sampling the options on the breakfast menu, and with the temperatures rising a cold drink and locally made ice cream was a favourite.

We all took advantage of the sun and the stunning surroundings, enjoying the waterside and the boats before heading off for the final leg of the morning and our end destination of Two Flags at Morcott.

Thank you, Phil for an excellent day, The Boat Inn, is a lovely destination, a really enjoyable route there and the setting is spectacular!

Thank you also to Garry A for his TEC duties and for looking after us and as always for everyone else for their Company.
