Sunday 14th July’s ride out was a bit different to the normal ride out, Mark Bearman offered a ride out with a final destination of The Goat at Frognall, for their annual Classic Car and Bike Show.

Eleven PECAM members took up Mark’ offer and following a briefing at the usual meeting place at Haddon Services and with Bill Perrin taking on the Pink Vest duties, we headed off out towards Oundle on some familiar country roads.

Mark had included some fantastic roads, which also took in the fabulous Benefield and Bitchfield bends before heading to Corby Glen and then on to Frognall.

A fantastic 85 miles of wonderful twisties and countryside, not too many obstacles, the usual Sunday cyclists, but the roads were fairly quiet, so not too many hold ups.

The Classic Car and Bike Show was a great stop off, it was very busy with lots of vehicles to look at and people to chat too, well worth the stop.

Thanks Mark and Jacob for the route and for looking after us, very enjoyable roads on many familiar and some new roads, thanks also to Bill for TEC duties and as always thank you to everyone for their Company.
